countax rider 30 double pulley repair

i am presently working on a customers ride on mower, its a countax rider 30 , i replaced the belts, this wasnt easy, but with resilience i managed it
as i dont have the workshop manual, or any manual for it, and cant find a useful one on net, only the operators manual.

my only problem is the rear double pulley, where the pto belt changes the angle, and sends another toothes belt off to the grass collector mechanism
this double pulley is cast iron, and i presume the bearings have gone,

its a strange set up as the pulley is fastened to the body by 'one' bolt.so it can easily move, which must have led to the failure of the bearings.

customer said their was a 'funny' sound, being the bearings ripping to pieces,

so now i either need a whole new double pulley, which i cant find, or new bearings, but what size?

ive already looked at that website, i dont know the part numbers, only that the rde on is a 'rider 30' which is a rear engine, type, where you sit on top of the engine,
and on the said website it has few parts available for that model,

so what i need is some advice on how to rebuild the pulley, like what size bearings would go in, even if it ended up being very 'heath robinson'

Going to need a little more info before I am able to help you. That pulley is repairable, but I am not there to handle it, so can you give me the exact name of the unit? What series is the unit? How old is the unit? Is this pulley mounted on the unit or the collector? Remember, you are my eyes and info gatherer, any/all info you give me, makes it easier. Names and numbers on both the unit and collector are going to help me identify if the parts are metric or US standard. Thank you.

Looks fairly straightforward. Just remove that big circlip, and drive out the outer races with a new punch and hammer, and drive out the inner races as well, and take those parts to an auto or machine or mower shop and match them up, make sure that the new bearings have seals on both sides, and reinstall. Over here we have bearing houses that will allow retail/walkup customers to come in and buy bearings fairly cheaply.

A lot of the time if you can see the old bearing races they will have a bearing part number on them.

The Countax rider was the worst product that Countax ever made.
The stories are that their were more sent back to factory with multiple problems than were ever used.

The pulley system was changed in 1996 to 2 pulleys with a shaft in between but parts maybe getting hard to get.
Usually Countax use 6203 RS bearings or 6205 RS.

I would try a local bearing shop like Brammer - Home.

I found the pulley on this website, part number 18322500, which includes the bearings. Page 17, item 37.

37 is the pulley but rrp is ｣38.00 where as bearings will be cheaper.

You are correct Pug, just replacing the bearings would be cheaper. The OP could not find the pulley, that is why I posted the part number, which included the bearings. Don't know how much it is in pounds? Pug, you are the one who would be able to find the bearings, as they are probably metric.
