Control and Carburetor Assembly

Hello there! I would like to know if I am reassembling this correctly. Plate does open when parts are moved manually .
Reassembled (Please ignore the fallen gaskets I removed the screws and filter case for photo, and of course they f


When assembled I believe this is the plate in the closed position

When assembled I believe this is the plate in the closed position
Plate opens when I manually adjust the throttle arms (Sorry that’s not the correct part)
Plate opening when I adjust the choke lever manually

You really can not assemble it wrong.
The throttle cable increase the tension on the governor spring and the throttle butterfly will be fully open no matter where you have the throttle control.
The choke position will vary depening upon what type of choke you have.
A manual choke will close after the throttle control has passed the run position ( usually there is a click at that point )
Then there are various auto chokes , most of which will be fully closed when the engine is cold & off .

For any more specific information we need the make & model numbers of both the mower & engine .
