Cheetah II - Rides like the Flintmobile

I bought a Cheetah II ( 37hp) a couple years back for the so called "smooth ride deck feature" which turned out to be all but worthless IMO. The mower cuts like crazy but my bad back is still taking a beating after cutting 3 acres. I was told that the a seat suspension kit would help but I'm still Leery. I would appreciate any suggestions or advise.

Maybe lower the psi in the tires.. But that can affect cut height.
