Hello
I bought a new Troy Built 21" push mower
http://www.troybilt.com/equipment/troybilt/lawn-mowers/tb110--triaction--21-walk-behind-push-mower
and accidentally filled the SAE 30 oil in the gas tank after the initial assembly.
I quickly removed oil by draining the tank with the mower sideways, removed the gas tank and rinsed out the tank with gasoline.
Also tried to drain the carb as much as possible by standing the mower sideways.
After filling new oil in the correct place and gasoline in the gas tank, the mower does not start.
I need advice on what to do next.
If the removal and disassembly of the carb is the next step, how to proceed as the 2 bolts holding the carb to the engine are difficult to get at.
The engine is B&S 550ex series with ReadyStart system which does not have any manual controls, choke or throttle.
It does have a warranty (Briggs & Strattonョ Starting Promise
With the Briggs & Strattonョ Starting Promise? an engine equipped with ReadyStartョ will always start on the first or second pull, or it will be fixed for free. )
Wonder if I should go for the warranty.
It does start if I spray carb/choke cleaner in the air intake but stops right away. So, looks like oil is still there in the carb or the jet is plugged.
Thanks
