I bought a baker/simplicity leaf vac recently that is smoking some. I knew it smoked when I bought it but was chasing the electric start feature and higher hp. My plan is to use it this season as is and deal with it over the winter. Starts readily and has plenty of power. I wanted to find the shaft diameter and length, but the way this is assembled makes it a big job to get to where I could measure. I'd appreciate finding out the specs on the shaft, suggestions on repowering, and advice on repairing if I go that way. On the engine plate 192437 0161 01 9408121A. I assume this needs rings/ and or valves. It would be helpful to know if parts are still available for this. TIA!
