I have never seen a suggestion in a mower OEM operation manual about what the engine speed should be to engage the blade clutch. Isn't it beneficial to suggest to people to slow the engine speed to half throttle poor to pulling out the blade clutch switch or stopping the blades?

Wouldn't such practices help increase the blade clutch? I would appreciate some opinions...

OEM recommend anything from idle to full throttle engagement depending on the mower and the manufacturer. So there is no common theme between mowers and brands.

Most manufacturers recommend three quarter throttle and shut off at half throttle. I say start at full throttle because you starting mower deck from a dead start and the engine at anything less is going to hit the gov and go to full throttle anway. Shut off at half or less is good because the clutch has a brake and it will wear it less.
