Does anyone have any experience with the B & D 24 volt rechargable lawn mower. model # cmm1200? I have replaced the batteries and the mower woks fine, but the charger does not seem to charge the batteries. The indicator lights on the charger don't light up and I don't get any voltage when I test the connector end. I'm wondering if its the charger itself or the electronics in the connection on the mower handle.

From what you have described it is most likely the charger that is faulty. Did you connect the charger to another live outlet just to make sure ?

The maintenance described in the service manual is battery replacement. (Possible two years). It charged up overnight. It had enough juice to mow 1/3rd acre lot with heavy spring weeds that were also a little wet without running out of battery juice.
There are no instructions for how to replace the battery - you are instructed to take it to a service dealer. Perhaps they will help you solve the problem.
