Just wondering about these oil filters (HG52114 / 120-738) and why exactly and what harm would be done if aftermarket oil filters "with" anti-drain back valves were installed.
I recently purchased a couple of aftermarket filters here in Australia which appear to me to have this anti drain back membrane behind the inlet holes which is why I ask.
