Hi Folks,
I have had a continuing problem with toe out on my LN 175
i mow rough terrain, and when I hit a ditch, the steering links inevitably bent and stretch, causing toe out.
Here is my solution!
With a cut off wheel, unscrew and cut off 1/2 to 3/4 inch of the adjustment nut end.
Next with the lock nut still on the shaft, cut 1;2 to 3/4 inch off the steering link rod.
Now spin the lock nut all the way off, this clears your threads.
put the lock nut back on, and screw on your shorter shaft.
You ca do one or both sides as necessary.
This brings the wheels back in alignment, and you are good to go again
God Bless,
Martin
