Hello all. I expect the reason most people post here is to find help. I guess I'm the same, just need a little advise. This Grasshopper has been fantastic, mostly farm use. Never a problem, just regular maintenance. Then, one day, it lost drive on the right. Ends up, that the half moon key had sheared, and wore down the hub and axle. Parts are a little hard to find, even used. It appears I could replace just those 3 parts, if I can find them. There have been drive assemblies on eBay, but I felt the prices were excessive. I could easily reach the point where I sell this for parts, and/or use the upgraded Briggs V-twin in another machine. I tried a 'farmer fix' (shims and JB Weld) and it lasted a while. I suppose I could build up the axle with some weld and grind to fit. I would feel more comfortable with a permanent fix. Anyone know of any parts?
