My 618 ran fine two weeks ago until I got a flat. Got fixed and after sitting outside a week it didn't run very well. It would start and idle fine, but if I moved around it would bog down and die after about 15 seconds. Did it with blades engaged and without. After doing this around 12 times it just went dead. Turn the key and nothing. No clicks, no turn over. Battery tested good and is sitting at 12.7v. Any ideas?

Thx in advance. Want a few more years out of this mower.

You may have several problems
Runs for 15 seconds & dies a symptom of having the exhaust plugged by dead animals or wasps
It is also a sign of having water in the float bowl
IF you get black smoke as well then a plugged air intake would also be suspected

No power at all would be a blown fuse , bad power or ground cable .
Never seen let alone laid a spannar on a Hopper , not even sure if they get imported down here so I can offer no specific information.

Sounds like my old 612 when it had water in the fuel but have no idea why it’s not turning over with a good battery. Maybe as Bert said, fuse or power ground. Let us know what you find out.
