I need some help anyone, I am recently divorced and when I got the mower out today I mowed a few strips of grass and the blades quit working, after further investigation I noticed a spring off on the cutter deck. I cannot for the life of me figure out where the other end of the spring attaches too. I hate to have this thing hauled in just to look really really stupid and then they will charge me an arm and a leg. I downloaded the manual off of Skag's website but its getting dark now so I will be back at it come tomorrow. I know this will be a simple fix if I can just figure it out. Any help or suggestions I could get would be great!!!! Thanks

Flip up the foot board and you will see the deck easily,.
On the tensioning arm there is a square slot.
Put a breaker bar into the slot and use it to pull the belts tight so you and replace the spring easily.
An extra set of hands will be helpful as if you let the tension off the belt drops off the engine pulley.
Some use a spring hook, a couple of feet of No 8 wire with a hook at one end and a T handle at the other to stretch the spring over the post.
