I have an issue with my transaxle. Right now, it won't go forward or reverse. If I toggle the bypass lever it acts like it wants to go, but then nothing. So sounds like a center section issue from everything I have read and researched. BUT, It was working fine. I had to replace a bearing and seal on the axle shaft. Essentially all I did, was drain the oil, remove the rear cover, remove axle, replace bearing and seal, reassemble, and purge IAW instructions in the manual. I have repeated the purging procedure over and over, and feel like there is something I am missing. Decided to reach outfor help before I pull all my hair out. Thank you in advance!

Some axels purge better than others
two important things is the wheels are off the ground so there is no resistance to rotation
Secondly the engine is running as slow as possible to prevent foaming .
At ti,es I have resorted to sump pumps to put a vacuum on the box to get enough air out to start purging.
Some purge in minutes and some take 5 days
