2012 Turf Tiger 29kdfi problem

Machine has been flawless for many hours. After 15 minutes mowing it seems to run out of fuel..pull back on throttle..catches backup...I put gas in from sons gas can..seems when the problem started..put seafoam. Injector cleaner..etc ..same result. I can shut it off and 5 minutes later it runs perfect for 15 minutes and does it again. Where is fuel filter for.fuel injected Kawasaki Machine has 1600 hours. Thx in advance for advice.

Post engine manufacturer as well as all numbers from engine & serial number from mower.

Request Rejected click anyway, page 36 shows fuel filter location, part number STT99FF-1.

"K&T Parts House Lawn Mower Parts and Chain Saw & Trimmer Parts" your engine service repair manual is 8 down, download at bottom left of screen.

After changing fuel filter check all wire harness connections by hand making sure everything is tight & secure. If problem still exists I would take to Scag dealer so they can isolate problem with their computerized test equipment. Digital fuel injection troubleshooting requires a qualified technician to solve problem.

Not familiar with your particular mower however generally there are 2 fuel pubs.
One is the lift pump that send fuel from the tank to injector pump and of course then injector pump itself.
So you might like to try running it using an exterior tank with a gravity feed down to the injector pump.
Another other common fault is a blockage in the fuel return line so the pressure will slowly build up till the injectors can no longer open.

After that I am out of tricks but both of these and a blocked fuel filter will show the symptoms you describe.

Fuel filter solved problem. .must remember ..putting injector cleaner in fuel tank also cleans tank..old filter was black from deposits that cleaner cleaned up...thx to all for your advice...GREAT FORUM HERE..
