Hey all, I’ve got a 2008 ZT pro 60” with the 26hp Briggs. I’m not able to engage the blades, I have checked the main fuse, connection to the clutch, tested pto switch, and manually applied 12v to the clutch which I did hear an audible click. With the pto switch up (engaged) if I get off the seat it kills the engine so, I’m assuming that is also good. If anyone else has dealt with this and can point me in the right direction I’d appreciate it.

With knowing the Bad BOy model number the type PTO swithc is just a guess.

If it is like one the switches below any one of the three poles of the PTO switch can be bad. The most common PTO switch is a 3 pole, double throw switch.

Example of a cople PTO switches contact setups.
