2008 Snapper 38" mower deck overhaul

When replacing blades and the bearings seem to have play in the shafts, is it better to replace the assembly or just the bearings if the shafts are okay? The pulleys appear to be okay. Thanks, Olddigs

If shafts are in good shape just replace bearings, pack new bearings by hand.
