Just completed this, runs perfect. The under deck picture is how it looked after the first mow.

Enjoy!

I love the 19" size 2-cycle lawnboys. I have 3, of different vintages. One thing I don't like is the mulch fan. For me, and I always side-discharge, it seems to give a poorer cut, than just the blade alone. I generally remove the mulch-fan from those Lawnboys that I intend to use personally.

Very nice, looks great!!! What kind of shape was it in when you got it?

The large aluminum muffler on these models make them the quietest of all Lawnboys, in my opinion.

Hi-

I really like your mower. I use a mower deck spray under the deck on my restored 10247, that really helps if you rinse out the grass clippings after every mow. I do that as the lawnboy is my showpiece and not the daily driver.

Had a chance to get a 1977 version of your mower, but was travelling out of town and didn't have room in the car to get it home.

Outstanding restoration. Great mower to bring back to full life. Enjoy using that machine.
