16 hp v-twin cranks but wont start unless i cover intake completely

if i cover the intake completely i can get it to start and run but as soon as i let some air get in it will stall

if it has a carb you need to adjust the air. I would try running some fuel cleaner thru it first? Did you store it fuel in it? That's a no no!

Look about 3 threads down. Just went over the same thing.
