I have not been on in while, but does anyone know an easy way to but the actuator part on without taking half of the lawn tractor apart. I noticed that if I take the 2 bars that block where it goes I am afraid it will not go back together like it came apart. Any suggestions would be welcome...

I FINELY GOT THE CARB FIXED ON MY CRAFTSMAN LAWN TRACTOR (917.255720). It has a Tecumseh engine # 143.406022. However I still have the governor problem. I CAN NOT REGULATE THE THROTTLE BY THE LEVER ON THE DASH . i CAN CHOKE IT BUT CAN'T LOWER OR RAISE THE SPEED OF THE ENGINE. sO i STILL NEED...

I have a 143.406022 Tecumseh engine with carb #632525 . The #s on the carb 143J6P. I have cleaned this carb 4 different times and put a kit in it,however the choke has to be about 3/16 inch open for it to run plus it does a lot of popin and I have added SEA FOAM in the gas.

Is it important when cleaning a carb. to remove the welch plugs and reinstall them
