    B+S 16 hp no spark please help....scratching head!!!

    Had this engine running almost fine had an issue where i could not increase engine speed... figured that one out had a mouse home under cowling cleaned up mouse house and had engine running pretty damn good... was leaking oil out of both valve covers so i removed them and cleaned them replaced...

    B+S 16 hp v-twin cranks but wont start unless i cover intake completely

    If i cover the intake completely it will start and run but as soon as i start to let air in it will rev up like normal running and then die.

    if i cover the intake completely i can get it to start and run but as soon as i let some air get in it will stall
