OK, since we've wandered over to this discussion, for those of us who are 'homeowners', and don't want to have to go see you guys every couple of years, what do you think of something like this? Yey? Nay?

I'm running G5 gator blades with the slightly heeled deck. HD ZT 60. Didn't use the mulching blades that came with the mulch kit after 2 seasons. Lousy summer cut. Mow slow, mow dry and don't cut too much at a time.......

Tell my leaves that, as they drift out from the deck, darn near a powder.

I've installed the mulch kit on my ZT 60 but it doesn't contribute anything to a vibration.

Care to elaborate on what they did or found?

Before changing out the hydro oil in 2 Gravely HD ZT 60's I googled what weight of oil to use, from Gravely. Says in the owners' manual 15W50. So I does that. Then one of you smart guys says "20W50". Crap! I want to do the right thing as one of the mowers belongs to my DIL and it a new mower...

So, was it running low on oil? And when you say right side will not pull at low speed are you talking about the engine RPM'S or actual speed of the mower?

My ZT HD 60 did the same thing, down to the same side. I replaced the damper and that solved it. It had just grown weak.

lipo will not get a full charge from a LA designed charging system. Hmmmmmmmm..... Seems to work fine for years with motorcycles, which were originally set-up for SLA batteries.......

They run them in off-road adventure bike all the time. If they can handle that, they should be able to handle my lawn......

I just bought a Noco lithium for my motorcycle and really like it. Still strongly considering one for the Gravely. Plus, all my chargers are Noco, which make it easy to charge both lead-acid and LiFePO4 batteries. Guess the next step is to start contacting manufacturers... Anyone already tried one?

Mine did the same thing, you need to replace the steering damper arm. Pretty simple job.
