    Switching to longer blades?

Is it possible(geometry wise) to put one longer blade only on the front center spindle to obtain more overlap. Tip to shroud is a fixed length on outside of blades. If there is more room from tip to front of deck....?

    One coil or both???

Thanks for the advice, I will do just that. I am so appreciative of the many experts on this forum that take the time to share their accumulated knowledge with the rest of us. Without having learned from all of you so much over the years, diagnosing my issue may have led me to just throwing...

    One coil or both???

Thanks for the advice. I have been using Jack's for most parts purchases but there shipping to my area seems to take an inordinately long time, but for the price, ehh, I guess I can live with it.

    One coil or both???

Sixteen year old Kawasaki FH580V acting up when engaging electric PTO switch, narrowed it down to the coil/spark plug on the left side cylinder when viewed from rear of engine. Should I replace both coils at once as they both have the same age and hours(582) or just the one causing problems...

    Briggs popping

Is there supposed to be a sleeve spring from the governor to the carb linkage? That carb flange seems to wiggle a lot, like that spring tension would modulate that.

J.D. E120 Snowblower attachment works very poorly

It looks like the idler pulleys (part 18) slide in grooves of part 16. If this is correct do the pulleys bottom out in the back of the slot? If so then the belt may be too long? If not then the spring may have lost tension? Just guessing, we don't have much call for snow blowers in La.

Good value torque wrenches without breaking the bank?

I once got a loaner at a O"reillys and when I opened the box at home, the head was all in pieces. Immediately brought it back, luckily I knew the manager personally so he didn't accuse ME of doing that, but was truly embarrassed and frustrated. Don't always trust the name brand loaner tool either !!

    Fuel

Go to You Tube and watch Taryl Fixes All, he did a 19 month real time test of ethanol fuel and additives for same. The conclusion is ethanol free fuel, alone, is fine for 6 months too 2 years. 10% ethanol fuel starts to do bad things after 6 months no matter what you add. Even they were...

Best value SCAG for my situation?

Might look at Hustler Fastrac SDX. Can get Kawasaki FX730, Hydrogear 3400's and 54 or 61 inch cuts and suspension seat. I wanted the Patriot, but they went to self contained reservoirs on the 3400's and I want separate reservoirs that I can see and fill with worrying about contamination from...

    Tire pops off the rim

My experience with tubes in a zero turn has been less than stellar. Too much sheer between tire and tube, especially on left side tire. A tube will get you going again for a while, but not a long term fix for this application.
