4' x 8' Hardi Panels --- you must need 4 gorillas to lift each one ! :eek: We have the pre-finished Hardi Plank siding on our house and it is HEAVY - We love it for many reasons, but one major reason is that we have Wood Boring Bees in this area and they can't touch this siding !

If you don't have it - this is the parts list for the 33" snapper. The older Snapper RERs had an idler pulley on the Blade drive belt - JRs does not. The long free section of the drive belt causes the vibration. If yours is OK and there is a solution - let me know so I can help JR ! :biggrin:

Yep -- Impressive -- with our last winter (not this year) we had 20" & 24" snows, Not as much as you had, but I did 9 drives and 1/2 mile to the main road. NO PROBLEM :thumbsup: :biggrin:

I've had my VENTRAC 4200 VXD (Gas) for 6 years -- LOVE it ! :thumbsup:

attaches to front or back of the VENTRAC - suitcase weights go on top rail up to 300 Lbs. If more is needed you can use down pressure. We have rock hard red clay soil.

Our house at the time was over 100 years old in the 60s. The first layer was Cedar Shakes and then MANY layers of shingles and tar paper. The layers were over 3" thick. If I put a pic in with the Ventrac maybe people can look at the tractor instead of me ! :rolleyes:

Thanks - I will miss him, but he wasn't MY dog, he belonged to a friend. Jake was my fishing buddy when I went fishing in the friend's lake. I never saw a dog so intent on watching the line and so excited when a fish was brought to shore. Jazz loves fishing, but not as much as Jake did.

One vote + for me -- the VENTRAC makes it FUN ! The plow is good, but the Blower is Great !

This past winter in VA - 2 - 20+ inch snows -- the VENTRAC had no problem with 9 drives + 1/2 mile to main road. :thumbsup: :biggrin:

On the VENTRAC the mower deck just flips up and is held by a couple pins until you are ready to put it back down. :thumbsup: I've had other tractors with belly mount decks and usually just took the deck off and flipped it over. The only "Craftsman" I ever had was returned in just a couple days...

OK - Here is one for you people -- Neighbor has a 30" Snapper with the 12.5 Briggs Intec. I had cleaned up all the grease and oil and replaced the spindle (bearings were bad) - put the battery back in (took it out and gas tank off to do the work) and hooked up + and - exactly where they had...

Check out the Meg-Mo blades - my deck has less build up since I put these blades on - they kick back like bush hog blades if you hit anything and they have more lift and throw things out the shute farther. meg-mo.com
