and following what 7394 said about it might be getting to much air, wouldn't that air issue most likely be due to wrong carb adjustment?

wouldn't consider the drive pulley being held on by a bolt a lot of parts, but anyways good thinking, even though I'm surprised it went in because some mowers have REALLY close belt keepers around the pulley.

how much did your carb cost? tell the truth as for if it was a cheap carb its not very good. I've had a couple people bring me a leaf blower or trimmer that won start, they said that they have a new carb on it, i ask them how much it cost, they said 14$ off amazon i then asked if they have the...

yeah but it dries off..... and what about when you cut grass and leave the packed up grass on the inside of the deck? the moisture gets trapped in there and rusts it too

Why would you not use the deck cleaning hose function? Personally, I put the deck all the way down, hook the hose up, turn it on, engage the pot like your supposed to, and it works GREAT

Personally....I think your idea is a great idea, good thinking out of the box... Similar to when for about a year I had a BUNCH of left over scotch brite ( it’s that hard green stuff on top of sponges ) And I just used scotch bright as a air filter lol
