Thanks, Ive always kept the carburetors bowl empty between uses and burn. nothing but ethanol-free gas, but you could be right. I will check prices of a new carburetor. probably cheaper than taking it to a shop. Even if that isn't the problem.

Engine Part # 19G412-1187-E1 The nylon connector has split causing a fuel leak. Is the brass nipple pressed into the body of the carb or is it a threaded connection. I didn't want to attempt removing it if all I need is the nylon replacement. I'm not having any luck finding one though.
