engine spins easy as shown:

I am assuming its the governor spool, and gear assembly, crankshaft or camshaft causing the issue.

I just opened it up, and everything looks good, but took forever to separate the engine. I am assuming the crankshaft is bent, but not sure how to tell.

You are making assumptions when you shouldn’t and now you’re at the point of no return. In the first video, did you make sure that you had the flywheel brake OFF. Sure sounds like it was on and that was the scraping sound we are hearing. Second, I can see that you did not clean the PTO end of the crankshaft before removing the sump cover. That would explain why it was so hard to remove, shroud have been shiny clean first. What was your original problem that you are trying to solve? At this point you will need to ask yourself, How much do I want to stick into this engine?

I gave up because I could not guess what the actual problem is. I put my forehead to the computer screen and nothing came to me. Oh well. I admit I am just not that good at "playing charades" or "sounds like." But I will take "Engine problems for $200."

I think I figured it out. I didn't have the blade installed. I don't have the right blade for it. I thought all blades are universal depending on the deck size. I thought I could test it without the blade. I need to buy the right blade, but can't find the right blade. Guess I need more info off the engine.

probably the mower number and serial would be easier to find a blade for than the engine.

I don't have that info. Working on getting that info. It was a junk yard engine. The mower I put it on has a 22" deck and self propelled. Was going to try the self propelled if I can get the pulley attachment on the crankshaft. Not sure how much power a 3.5hp engine has compared to a 6.5hp.

To answer earlier questions I ripped the engine apart, cause I saw sludge like carbon, possibly water with the oil from the engine being at a junk yard.

Anyway, engine is all cleaned up, put back together with oil, gas, new carburator, and won't fire. It has spark. Won't even fire with carb cleaner sprayed in the carb.

Since you have spark there are three things I would check. First I would check to see if the valves are opening and closing at the right time. Did you double check the timing marks on the crank and the cam? Second would be valve clearance. If you had the cam out and a possibility of switching the valve tappers, the clearance may be off. Third spray some carb cleaner directly into the cylinder and see if you have bang. Finally, did you get the new carb off Fleabay, Amazon or is it OEM? What was the part number of the new carb?

Timing is right. Not sure if the valve tappers got switched. I'll remove the spark plug, and spray some carb cleaner, and put it back to see if it fires. The carb I got is part number 640350 for an LEV120. It was about $50 cheaper, and looks the exact same.

My experience with non-OEM carbs is that 50%+ are bad. The carb for you engine is #640283, so you also have the wrong carb.
