Update. I figured out the problem. The deck left lever/pedal is connected to the same lever rod (rockshaft) as the brake pedal. The deck lift is simply suppose to pivot around the rockshaft and not move it. There is a actually a zerk grease fitting on the deck lift lever at this pivot point. I...

Update. Resolved! I took the battery out in prep to take it for the core exchange. While I had it out I decided to clean all the contacts all along the wiring harness (the taps at each juncture), tightly secured every bolt along that line and did a continuity check from the postive battery...
