I know that but my problem is that I am afraid to hit the bolt to hard for gear of breaking the casting that it is going through. I tapped on it but it did not budge.

McCulloch 130. Bolt that holds bar on is broken. I removed front of saw and removed gas tank to access it. The bolt will not come out. Apparently there are knurls on bolt to make to fit tight. How do I remove the bolt without breaking the casting. I do not think a hammer is a safe way to break...
