So a friend gave me his l111 because it wouldn't start and he went and bought a new one. So I replaced the solenoid and it is running good. But unfortunately after mowing the grass the belt ended up breaking. So after looking on Amazon the belts they have listed have all been the same complaints...

Ok so cancel that part. So I jumped the solenoid and it turned over. So I have more testing to do. Either the solenoid is bad or safety switch.

So a friend just gave me a John Deere l111 because he bought a new mower. It doesn't crank over but has power. The battery is good on it so to test the starter I used a jump wire from the battery to the starter. I got nothing on it. So I'm curious with this mower if that does work. I don't want...
