Depending on which model of 100 series could have one of three different blade mounting methods/adapters. Do need to know which one the OP has.

A bad fuse, bad brake switch, bad pto switch, or bad solenoid will all cause a no crank issue. The no roll issue is most likely the parking brake on the transmission has rusted pins and is now stuck in the applied position.

Problem with the blade bolt/washers/not property torqued. Could also be an issue with the blade adapter preventing the blade from fitting correctly. You will need to remove the blade and take a look under the deck and see what things look like.

The purpose of that welded rod in the middle is to actuate the reverse safety switch to prevent mowing in reverse.

Did you remove the rim from the axle when you repaired the tire. If so you most likely lost the square key out of the axle/wheel hub.

Most likely missing belt retainers either on the engine or the idler pulley. Need to look at what pulley it is coming off of to narrow down the issues.

Valve cover looks like Kohler, so could be RTV sealant on the covers and not a gasket. Also the Model number may be located on a sticker on the engine cover that could be missing at this point.

The drive unit should have a tag with the companies name and model number on it. If it is a hydro-gear then you would be safe using 20w50 motor oil.
