You will need to do an air purge. After you put them in put the lines on but leave fitting loose and crank engine till fuel comes out around fitting then tighten the line on the injector.

Depending on the engine a set of injectors will be $100-$200. Diesel injectors are a completely different animal from automotive injectors. You won't be able to clean or test them. If you do cange injectors don't adjust or change anything on the injector pump. You won't help anything.

If you have only one wire to the coils you have the conventional coils and not a DSAI system you should have no voltage on the wires. They are ground to kill. When you turn the key off it grounds the wire to kill the ignition.

Couple things you can do. There is a hole in the top of the starter ratchet. That is for a few drops of oil to lube top of the crankshaft. If the shaft is dry it can seize in the recoil ratchet and bad things then happen. If you don't have the tool you can use a pipe wrench on it to tighten it.

I have run Rotella 15w40 in my 1976 International 184 for over 20 years with no issues. No hour meter but probably got about 100 hours a year on it for the first 20 years of its life.

Just for grins you could change out the oil for conventional straight 30wt and see what happens. It won't hurt it with the temps we have right now. I have seen engines make valve train noise with thin oil.

Next time if it is a tractor wit a hood take it off to get airflow and see what happens.

To test at each switch or connection you need to add a load. Meter won't find the problem.

These kinds of problems are just so much fun. First thing is one at a time pull the connector off of the switches and plug back in about ten times to "clean" the connectors. If it starts working you need to fix the bad connection. Clean or replace the spade connector pins. If that doesn't work...
