Throttle shaft/carb worn out. Ck for side to side play. Running too lean.

So, which engine is it ??? A GC160 [horizontal shaft] or a GCV160 [vertical] crankshaft. The GCV's have a tendency for the intake valve to stick open, then blowing flame back thru carb.
