I switched to Linux years ago. Tried 10 different distros. Top of list = Linux Lite 6.0, Mint 21.3, Xubuntu 24.04. All 3 are Ubuntu based and easy to transition from Windows. So, it really boils down to what "desktop" (GUI) you prefer. I like XFCE of Xubuntu - an official flavor of Ubuntu w/ 3...
